Drummond Carpenter and Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council recently launched the public input portion of their collaborative Green Stormwater Infrastructure visioning project in three communities bordering Lake Charlevoix in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan. Residents of the partner cities of Boyne City, Charlevoix, and East Jordan are invited to participate in this Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) visioning process. Green stormwater infrastructure uses native vegetation and natural processes to capture pollutants, minimize nutrient runoff, and reduce stormwater to protect Lake Charlevoix. Please follow this link to learn more about the project!
